Nevermind

Overly ambitious? I guess.

Contest is cancelled. Sorry to anyone who might have considered entering at the last minute. How do you pick a winner from one or two entries?

Hoodie, I'm so sorry if I have disappointed you by not entering this contest.
I find I have less time for blogging and for writing ingeneral, these days.
And also I find it really hard to think about any memories I may have that would have captured your imagination and interest.

I'm sorry too, and now I'm riven with guilt. I'm very busy trying to finish the final edit of my second novel to send off next week, as well as other stuff both personal and not, so I haven't had the time to focus on coming up with an idea. Excuses, excuses. Sorry!

Hi Hoodie, I think you had a wonderful idea. I loved the assignement. This is my first day of spring break, so I had time to arrange and type out what I have written in head.

I knew the deadline was Thursday midnight, but I checked in to make sure, again, of the word count you required.

I am sorry to see that it didn't come to fruition. Please accept my apologies for not getting a story to you earlier - I have been, and always will be, a "last minute" kind of gal.

I was gonna enter! I even twittered to get more people to enter! I'm just a procrastinator.

No one need apologize for not entering. It's a voluntary thing. I'm not trying to guilt anyone.

To K. and Paul who had expressed their intentions of participating, I'm sorry I cancelled on you. It just didn't seem fair for the two of you to be the only ones.

I had kind of hoped it would generate activity, but I guess that sort of backfired.

Oh well.

Sorry--hang in there. There will be another time, I'm sure.
