One Serious Meme

Thanks to Beth at Perfect Neurotic who likes me well enough to even think of me when trying to figure out who to tag for this next meme. The purpose of this, as I understand it, is to increase the exposure of your blog by linking your favorite three posts into the meme. Since this blog is still in its infancy my choices are not as difficult to make as they have been for others, but it also means I have a smaller quality margin to work within. There is so much of my genius still unblogged!

Anyway here are the official rules and the link progression. Everyone read, read, read!

"This seo meme was conceived and designed by Bobby at Revellian .com. This is a new fun seo meme ride for us all. This is based on the seo theory that links to posts inside your blog are more important than links to your home page. I have selected three posts I want to promote along with my site’s name. You will do the same thing. Let’s keep it simple and spread our good work around to both share and build some ratings!Make sure you pick three posts that you feel are your best. You could also select 3 posts you simply want to promote. Your site name is listed with your 3 selected posts beneath. Once you have your post up: Add the sites and post links of the folks you tagged onto your post. Try to add the site and post links to anyone involved to maximize the effectiveness. Tag a minimum of 5 people. Try your best not to double tag people so it will spread better! Please actually read the posts from everyone so you can see some really good work from our beloved blogging friends! Make your title a little different from mine to avoid repetitive titles."

Tales From The Hoodie - Experience, Shoes, Literally, This is Killing Me

Okay, I really hope I did that right. I'm always nervous about tagging people, so I'm giving everyone I tag an out. If you've already been tagged or you plain just don't want to do it, you are exempt.

So, Church Lady, Brilliant Donkey and Struggling Writer, the choice is yours.

This could end up being a pretty long and unwieldy list of blog links! :-) But it's a smart ploy in blog marketing as people's names and posts travel around and around and around...

Hi Hoodie,
I saw your post this morning and didn't have time to write until now.
I will admit I am pretty confused. That's a normal state-of-being for me.
Are the posts that you choose different from the people you tag? It looks like that. I guess that's my biggest question right now.
But thanks for tagging me! This is my first meme. And I don't even know what meme is, other than an email chain of sorts.

:-)

Vanilla - Thanks for stopping in!

Church Lady - I'll admit I found it confusing also. That's why I hope I did it right. My understanding is that you pick your three favorite posts and put them along with your name, so that as the chain progresses people are going back and reading your best stuff.

I ran through your 3 posts and saw they were all interesting PLUS I've already read them and liked them at the time.
I hope no-one tags me for doing this meme, though.
In case I got tagged, I'd pretend to have NOT seen it.

Interesting idea, Hoodie. I'm not sure I could do it, though. :-)

I read your three posts and very much enjoyed them. I can fully relate to your "Experience", I was moved by the "Shoes" even if you say it's unedited, and, yes, you're absolutely right about "literally."

Ha! Szelsofa will be my first tag!
(just kidding!)
I will see if I can do this. Please don't be mad if I can't! But I have an idea and I want to try....

You can NOT do THAT to me, Chris. I'm already spending WAAAY to much time in front of my PC. No way.

Thanks.

Szelsofa - Thank you!

Vesper - Thanks for reading them. Good to have you here.

Church Lady - I know, I found it intimidating too. I still don't know if I did it right, but I didn't want to be the one to break the chain. You and Szelsofa will have to work it out on your own :).

Hi Hoodie,
I was just kidding around with Szelsofa.
I sent out a failed recipe exchange via email, and she was part of that. Ooopss!
Anyway, I hope you're not mad if I bow out of this. I'm not good at this kind of thing, and I always seem to mess things up. Plus, I do spend quite too much time on blogs anyway. I'm really sorry. It sounds like a good idea, but too much of a time suck.

Thanks though---you were my first meme!!! :-) It's quite nice to be in that club now!

No problem, CL. No skin off my nose, as my Dad would say.

You know, this was a confusing meme for me as well. I do like you, Hoodie! I wanted to see what you would pick and off I go to read them.

I read them before, but they were great choices!

Thanks, Beth.
